“Dawn’s Guiding Light”
24x30 oil on canvas, 2025
In the veiled hush of the Labyrinth of Light, where thorny hedges twist like forgotten trials, a solitary marble sentinel stands eternal. Clad in flowing robes that catch the first breath of dawn, she holds aloft a lantern whose flame pierces the lingering shadows of night. Stars wheel overhead, and the maze’s winding paths seem to soften in her glow. This is Dawn’s Guiding Light, the virtue of Hope. As the anchor of the soul (Hebrews 6:19), it reminds the weary traveler that even in the deepest gloom, the Light that guided the ancients still beckons. This work invites the viewer to lift their eyes and press onward, for hope does not disappoint.

“Thornbound Vigil”
24X30 oil on canvas, 2025
Deep within the Labyrinth of Light, where the hedge walls close in like a crown of trials, a marble guardian stands unyielding. His form, carved with quiet strength, leans into the Light as thorns clutch at his robes, yet his lantern burns undimmed—a beacon forged in adversity. His gaze remains fixed upon the path ahead, resolute and unwavering. This is Thornbound Vigil, the virtue of Resilience. It echoes the call to “run with endurance the race set before us” (Hebrews 12:1), testifying that true strength is not the absence of storms, but the light we carry through them.
